Algimantas Mišeikis

Algimantas Mišeikis has been working as the second conductor of the Kaunas State Choir since 1971. He has contributed greatly to preparing sophisticated programmes for concerts at home and abroad and has conducted concerts dedicated to the 100th anniversaries of the birth of the Lithuanian composers Juozas Gruodis, Stasys Šimkus, Juozas Tallat-Kelpša, Juozas Žilevičius and Kazimieras Viktoras Banaitis.

Raimonda Navickienė

Raimonda Navickienė studied choral conducting under Professor P. Bekeris at the Lithuanian Academy of Music. In 1981, she started working with the Kaunas State Choir as a choirmaster, mainly training the tenor section. She also leads the choirs of the Kaunas Šilainiai and J. Basanavičius secondary schools.

Regina Kamičaitienė

Regina Kamičaitienė studied choral conducting under Professor Petras Bingelis at the Lithuanian Academy of Music. At the Kaunas State Choir, she mainly trains the soprano section.

Aida Butavičienė

Aida Butavičienė trains the alto group of the Kaunas State Choir. She studies choral conducting under Professor Petras Bingelis at the Lithuanian Academy of Music.

Jonas Antanavičius

"The great majority of the singers of the choir are young people. And youth is always exuberant and energetic. So, it is also these qualities that our rehearsals enrich my life with."

Jonas Antanavičius has performed dozens of roles at the Kaunas Musical Theatre. In 1970, he started working with the Kaunas State Choir as a vocal teacher.
